I don’t know about you, but the past few years have been a few years of many changes.
2023 brought me many changes; things like shifting responsibilities, shifting locations, shifting goals, shifting work, and even adding university.
Faced with a world of many options, and opportunities, I chose to take those options and opportunities, and stride into the unknown; it has not been entirely comfortable, but it has been pretty amazing.
I have moved, and am exploring all the things that come with a new major metropolitan home.
I have begun school (again). In the move, I gave up my previous position as a Software QA Lead/Manager, and enrolled in a Masters of Science program in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy at NYU.
I have begun the search for the next job, the next evolution of my professional career, and all the joys, opportunities, and challenges that that entails.
I am actively adding the social aspects that I love the most, back into my life; things like museums, art classes, hiking, dancing, and just exploring the world around me both on my own, and with friends.
It’s been really amazing, challenging, and sometimes, sanity breaking. I’m so glad I chose to do this.
